Matjarang is a restaurant on the second floor of Koreatown in Bangkok that serves Korean dishes such as jokbal and kimchi stew. The jokbal, the signature dish, is sliced and served on a large plate to be wrapped in kimchi, perilla leaf, and lettuce. Once seated, side dishes fill the table, and the jokbal portion is large enough that two people leave nearly half of it. The jokbal is served cold and the meat is somewhat firm.
