Furusato is a Japanese izakaya tucked inside a building on Sukhumvit 33 in Bangkok. It serves Chichibu-style fried sansai, simmered dishes, and miso-grilled pork, finishing with tuna and danmuji gimbap. The entrance is easy to miss, and inside there are horigotatsu seats and tatami-style space on the first floor and private rooms on the third. Indoor smoking is allowed, and smoke drifts into the private rooms because they are open above.
