Phraya Palazzo is a 100-year-old wooden hotel on the Chao Phraya River across from Khao San Road. Breakfast is ordered to preference, and the hotel also runs a pool and a Thai-style afternoon tea. Call the hotel from the pier on the opposite bank and a boat is sent within 24 hours. Because the building is old, footsteps from the floor above carry clearly into the rooms.
