Chakrabongse Villa is an eight-room boutique hotel on the Chao Phraya River, opposite Wat Arun. Its riverside restaurant serves traditional Thai dinner and breakfast. Built in 1908 as the home of one of King Rama V's sons, it was converted into a boutique hotel about 20 years ago and has a garden and a pool. Bird calls can keep you awake at night.
