Mother Roaster Pratu Phi

Mother Roaster Pratu Phi is a specialty coffee shop on Maha Chai Road in Samran Rat, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, serving black coffee brewed from Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and Central and South American beans. It is about a 20-minute walk from Khao San Road. Customers take beans out themselves, smell them, and choose; the beans can be brewed by hand-drip as Chiang Rai Huai Chomphu or Mae Jun Tai. Two baristas help with bean selection and sell beans in small portions, and the shop has air conditioning and quiet music, while the facilities are old and the restroom is inconvenient to use.
