Saranrom Palace is a palace ruin east of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, between the Grand Palace and Wat Ratchapradit. It was built during the reign of Rama IV and once served as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, showing traces of Thai architecture from the Westernization period. A statue of Rama IV stands in front of the palace, and its exterior can be photographed. The interior of the palace cannot be entered.
