Phra Tamnak Daeng (The Red House) is a historic Thai-style wooden palace building from the early Rattanakosin period, located inside Bangkok National Museum. Built within the royal palace during the reign of Rama I, it served as a residence for royal family members and was later moved to several other palaces. A decorated wooden pavilion stands beside it, and a mango tree planted in 1905 grows in front and still bears fruit each year. The interior remains an exhibition space showing life in the former royal court.
