Na Phra Lan Tunnel Gate 1

Na Phra Lan Tunnel Gate 1 is an air-conditioned underground pedestrian tunnel in Bangkok that connects the area in front of the Grand Palace with Sanam Luang. It is used by people moving between the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, and its walls display old photographs and historical materials of Bangkok. The tunnel has seats and air conditioning for resting, and escalators, large public restrooms, and free drinking water stations are provided. When tourists crowd in, the passage and restrooms become busy.
