Khaosan Road

Khaosan Road in Bangkok is a traveler street lined with night markets, bars and clubs, street food stalls, and massage shops. People eat street food such as pad thai and drink beer while travelers from many countries gather on the street. It gets crowded after 6 p.m. when the sun starts to set, and local touts are common, though you can decline them if you do not want what they offer. There is no BTS or MRT, so getting there is inconvenient.
