Taman Ujung is a water palace park in eastern Bali that served as a retreat for former royalty. Palace buildings appear to float on a large lake, and there are many photo spots throughout the grounds. Walking the whole site while taking photos takes about an hour, and the main building holds photographs and explanations of the royal family, with card payment accepted. Benches are plentiful but there is almost no shade, so a parasol is needed at midday.
