Rice fields in Ubud are a tourist site where you walk through green paddies and see the surrounding village scenery. Going early in the morning means cooler air and fewer tourists, so you can walk quietly. The paddy paths lead through a fairly large area, and you can also look around village roads next to local farms. Unlike in photographs, the multi-layered rice terraces are not visible and the fields can feel flat.
