Pererenan Beach sits north of Canggu, where black volcanic sand meets the surf. Surfing and sunset views define the beach, and a large flatfish statue stands at the entrance. Simple food stalls and sofas line the edge of the beach, facing the sea, with coconut drinks, satay, and soto ayam available to order. Waves are large and currents are strong, so the beach is not suitable for swimming.
