Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah is a Hindu temple known as the Elephant Cave, set in a valley near central Ubud. Inside a small cave at the entrance are carvings and an altar, and a Hindu temple under a large tree stands together with a Buddhist temple by the river. Walking up and down the valley stairs to see the tropical garden and the purification area with fish takes about 30 minutes. Because it is in the mountains, there are many mosquitoes.
