Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a large park-style attraction in southern Bali built around a monumental Garuda and Wisnu sculpture. Visitors walk among traditional statues and plazas throughout the park and can watch traditional dance performances. Walking to the top takes about 30 minutes, or visitors can use a buggy or shuttle, and the observation deck shows the history of the sculpture's construction and the surrounding landscape. There is little shade, so midday is hot.
