Sawawa Asakusa is a dessert shop in Asakusa, near Sensoji, selling matcha ice cream, matcha mochi, lattes, and baumkuchen. Its most popular ice cream pairs deep matcha flavor with a crisp cone. On weekdays at noon there is no wait, and orders are handed over immediately. Two small chairs sit in front of the shop, and there is no seating inside.
