Kagetsudō Kaminarimon

Kagetsudo Kaminarimon is a bakery near Nakamisedori in Asakusa that sells melon pan and ice cream. The standard melon pan is warm and crisp, and matcha or vanilla ice cream is placed inside it. Entering at 9:30 a.m. meant no wait, and arriving at opening time gets bread straight from the oven. Takeout bread cannot be eaten on the street and must be eaten inside the shop.
