Nurukan is an izakaya on a quiet alley in Okuasakusa, a short walk from Asakusa Station, serving Japanese sake and small dishes. The food includes satsuma-age, simmered beef tendon, and watercress dressed with salted kelp, alongside a range of sake that can also be served warm. The owner speaks little, and walk-ins are seated when a table is free, though the place fills up quickly. Without a reservation, there may be no seat available.
