Kamiya Bar

Kamiya Bar occupies an entire three-story building in front of Kaminarimon Street in Asakusa. It opened in 1880 as Japan's first Western-style bar. The main items are the brandy-based cocktail Denki Bran, draft beer, and snacks served around the drinks. Customers sit down, receive a ticket at the counter, and order, after which the food and drinks are brought out; the bar appears in Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human.
