Bangameori Beach sits at the end of Daebudo next to the Sihwa Embankment in Ansan, combining a sandy shore with mudflat experiences. At high tide people swim, and at low tide they dig for donjuk, mangjogeo clams, and chilge crabs, with bajirak kalguksu and grilled clam restaurants lined up behind the beach. Check the tide times before going; there is free parking, shower rooms, changing rooms, and foot-washing stations, and parasols can be rented. At low tide the water pulls far out, so swimming requires a long walk.
