The 40 Gyedan Culture and Tourism Theme Street in Jungang-dong, Busan, is a historic street that follows the traces of Korean War refugees' meetings and livelihoods. Old shops, small stores, and cafes line the area around the 40 Gyedan, with small exhibitions and sculptures throughout the alleys. The site is known to have been established around 1910, served as a market and a place where separated families searched for each other during the Korean War, and was redeveloped as a theme street in 2004. There are few places to visit in connection with it.
