Funawa - Main Branch

Funawa Honten is a confectionery in Asakusa, in front of Sensoji, selling sweet potato yokan and Japanese desserts. It serves sweet potato ice cream, sweet potato dorayaki, and anmitsu with agar, fruit jelly, anko, and brown sugar. The first floor is a takeout counter and the second floor is a cafe, where each person orders one menu item. The sweet potato yokan keeps for one to two days, so it cannot be stored long.
