Denboin Garden is a Japanese garden inside a temple next to Sensoji in Asakusa. It is a circuit-style garden that dates to the early Edo period, with a pond and trees, and it frames both the Sensoji five-story pagoda and Tokyo Skytree in one view. The garden is normally closed to the public and opens only during special viewing periods, when the garden and Sensoji's large ema and temple treasures can be seen. Opening periods are short and the schedule changes each year, so the dates need to be checked before visiting.
