Torishige is a yakitori bar between Meguro and Fudomae in Tokyo that grills various chicken parts over charcoal. It serves liver, heart, skin, chicken wasabi, and chicken sashimi, with the liver and sasami grilled close to rare. A ten-skewer course comes with salad and soup, and seats were 90 percent full when the 7 p.m. reservation guests entered, so phone reservations are required. The shop is not large and is almost always full, and access is inconvenient because you have to take a bus from Meguro or Fudomae.
