Ryukyu Mura is a folk village in central Okinawa where visitors see Ryukyu Kingdom-era houses and traditional performances. Seven houses roughly 100 years old, moved from across the Okinawa islands, stand together on the grounds. Traditional dance and song, sanshin playing, and drum performances are held five to six times a day in scheduled slots. The site is not large, so there is little to see or do beyond the performances.
