Osaka Banpaku Kinen Koen is a large park on the outskirts of Osaka that served as the site of Expo 1970. Visitors see the Tower of the Sun and a Japanese garden in the same grounds, along with wide lawns, flower beds and a rose garden. Covering all the facilities inside the park takes about a day, and the paths are wide and well maintained. Lalaport across the way offers dining and shopping, and access is somewhat limited because the park sits on the outskirts of Osaka.
