Joumon

Joumon is a yakitori restaurant in the basement of Kichijoji. It serves skewers of vegetables wrapped in pork and chicken skewers, along with sukiyaki skewers and steamed dumplings. Guests remove their shoes at the entrance. The actual skewers are displayed on a plate so you can choose what to order, but the restaurant is difficult to find on a first visit because there is no large sign outside the building.
