Sasano Ha is an izakaya inside Harmonica Yokocho, a two-minute walk from the north exit of Kichijoji Station in Tokyo. Customers choose a sashimi set from several combinations in the refrigerated case, and the slices of uni, shellfish and indo maguro come thick. A line forms before the 19:30 opening, with waits of an hour and a half reported, and the owner explains the drinks and sashimi in order without a menu. Seating is very tight, so when a customer on the inside leaves, others have to stand up.
