Beppu Jigoku (Hells of Beppu)

Beppu Jigoku Onsen Pilgrimage is a tourist site reached in 30 minutes by bus from Beppu Station. It follows Umi Jigoku, Oniishibozu Jigoku, Kamado Jigoku and Shiraike Jigoku, where you can see hot spring steam and foot baths at each. Visitors choose a combined ticket for seven sites or individual tickets and collect stamps in the order of the pamphlet. The site draws crowds and is busy even on weekdays.
